AVA can process the contents of files stored in FileHaven — not just find them, but read them.

What agentic file processing means

When you ask AVA a question that involves a document — "What did the contract with Acme Corp say about payment terms?" — AVA can retrieve the file from FileHaven, read its contents, and answer your question.

This works for PDFs, Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), and plain text files. It does not work for image-only PDFs (scanned documents without a text layer) or proprietary file formats.

How to use it

"What are the payment terms in the Acme Corp contract from January?"

"Summarize the PDF attached to project record #4821."

"Find all contracts in FileHaven that mention a penalty clause."

AVA will locate the relevant file, read its contents, and respond.

Cross-file queries

"Compare the payment terms in our Standard Agreement template with the Acme Corp contract."

"Find all SOWs from Q1 that have a total value over $50,000."

AVA can read multiple files and compare or aggregate across them.

What AVA will not do

AVA will not modify the contents of stored files. She can read, summarize, extract, and compare — not edit or overwrite.

If a file cannot be read

AVA will tell you if a file's format is not supported or if the file is an image-only scan. For scanned documents, contact support — OCR processing is available for some file types.
