The ThatApp browser extension integrates your data lake and AVA directly into supported platforms — so you can access ThatApp features without leaving the app you are in.
Supported platforms
- Podio (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- More platforms planned — check the Extensions page for current status
What the extension does
When you are viewing a Podio item, the ThatApp extension adds a sidebar panel with:
- The item's revision history from your lake
- File attachments from FileHaven
- AVA quick-access — ask a question about this specific record
- Restore button (if the item has been deleted and you are viewing a deleted items page)
- Item health summary
- Related records from other connected platforms
Installation
Go to the Extensions page on thatapp.io
Click Install for your browser
Complete the browser's extension installation flow
Click the ThatApp icon in your browser toolbar to authenticate
Sign in with your ThatApp account
The extension is now active. Open any Podio item to see the sidebar panel.
Permissions the extension requires
- Read access to the Podio pages you are viewing (to identify the current item)
- Access to your ThatApp account (to retrieve lake data)
The extension does not read or transmit any Podio data itself — it sends the current item ID to ThatApp and receives lake data in return.
If the sidebar does not appear
Reload the Podio page. If the sidebar still does not appear, check that you are signed in to ThatApp in the extension (click the toolbar icon). If the problem persists, contact support.
