The Possimpible™ tag field is a ThatApp-specific pattern for storing structured metadata in Podio without burning through Podio's revision limit.
Why it exists
Every change to a Podio category field or other tracked field type counts against a per-item revision ceiling of 5,000 revisions. On heavily used records — items that are frequently updated, tagged, or categorized — this ceiling can be reached, after which no further changes can be logged.
The Possimpible™ tag field is a calculation field (not a tracked field type) that stores a structured tag string written by ThatApp. Because it is a calc field, it does not consume revision count.
How it works
ThatApp writes a structured tag string to the field — a compact, self-contained format that carries both data values and display instructions. A JavaScript calc field parser reads the string and renders the correct output. The result: rich, dynamic field display that does not touch the revision counter.
What it looks like
The field appears in Podio as a calculated text field. Users see the rendered output — status badges, labels, metadata — not the raw tag string. The tag string is written and read by ThatApp only.
When you will encounter it
The tag field appears on Podio apps where ThatApp has been granted write access for automation or analysis features. You do not need to configure or manage it. If you see a field named "ThatApp Tag" or "_thatapp_meta" on a Podio app, that is it.
Can I delete it?
Do not delete the Possimpible™ tag field if it exists on an app. AVA uses it to store processing state for several automation and analysis features. Deleting it will break those features. If you need to remove it for a specific app, contact support first.
