Activating a Print template makes it available directly within Podio — no need to go through the ThatApp interface.

Step 1: Open the template settings

Navigate to Print → Templates → [your template] → Settings.

Step 2: Click Activate

Click the Activate button in the template settings.

Step 3: Select the Podio app

Choose the Podio app this template should be available on. The template's variables must be compatible with this app's fields — if there is a mismatch, ThatApp will warn you before activating.

You can activate a single template on multiple Podio apps.

Step 4: Save

Save the activation. Within a few seconds, a Print button appears on items in the selected Podio app.

How it works for Podio users

When a Podio user opens an item and clicks the Print button, they see a list of activated templates available for that app. They click the template they want. The document generates and downloads as a PDF.

Users do not need a ThatApp account to use Print from Podio. They need to be logged in to Podio, and the item must be in an app where the template is activated.

Deactivating a template

Navigate to Print → Templates → [template] → Settings → Deactivate. The Print button disappears from the Podio app immediately.
