Every team member you add to ThatApp has access to the organizational data lake — subject to the permissions you have set for them.

**Default access levels**

*Account owner:* Full access to all connected platforms, all data, all AVA actions.

*Team member (standard):* Access to all platforms except financial data sources (QuickBooks, payroll systems, accounting tools). Can query and view; cannot delete or take destructive actions without confirmation.

*Team member (restricted):* Access only to the platforms you explicitly grant. Set during the invitation conversation with AVA.

**How Mithril security affects data access**

Mithril is ThatApp's security layer. It enforces access rules at the data level — not just the interface level. If Sarah is restricted from seeing QuickBooks data, AVA will not return QuickBooks data in response to Sarah's queries, even if she asks directly.

Mithril rules are set in the invitation conversation and can be updated at any time.

**Sharing data externally**

To share specific data with someone outside your organization:
- Use AVA to generate a Print document and email it
- Use a custom assistant scoped to a specific dataset
- Export specific records to CSV and share the file

There is no public-facing data sharing feature built into ThatApp. All team members must have a ThatApp account.
